January 16, 2010: I figure it is time for another update. Yes, I know the last update was back in May of 2009! A lot has happened since then. Musical Horizon received positive feedback on my first recording (streamable in part in the recordings section), so I have confirmed my decision to make another recording. My accompanist, Kathy McNeil, and I have already recorded the first half and are preparing to record the second half of my first commercial album next month. Compositions will include (assuming I can fit it all onto one CD): Stravinsky Suite Italienne, Bolcom Graceful Ghost Rag, Franck Violin Sonata, and Kreisler Caprice Viennois. My plans are to release the album on the Musical Horizon label and sell it directly to the public via CDBaby, as well as via internet music stores, such as iTunes, Napster, and Amazon.com. At this point in time, I hope to release this album by the end of the 3rd quarter of 2010. However, only time will tell! More updates, hopefully, coming soon....
