December 29, 2007: No updates for well over a full year! I am finally getting around to updating this site. Many things have happened over the past 2 years since my graduation from Penn State. As for the recording, it was delayed for many different circumstances. However, the recording plans have been reestablished. Rehearsals with my pianist are going great, and our goal is to start recording the first batch of pieces in Mid-Late January 2008.

I have updated my resume. It is now displayed in full at maxsverdlove.com. I have also updated the repetoire list. These are the pieces that are currently scheduled to be recorded, not necessarily in the order displayed.

As for my compositions... nothing inspirational has come my way recently, besides I really have not had time to try out anything new yet. Hopefully soon.

As per learning new tricks of the trade: I have recently decided to follow a past fascination with Early Music and have begun taking lessons in Baroque violin playing... yes that's right, no shoulder or chin rests, I am using gut strings and a baroque bow. But don't worry, I haven't given up on modern violin.
